Markija’s Visit with Prohuman and Samsung SDI Hungary to Batam State Polytechnic
On February 7, 2023, Markija together with Prohuman and Samsung SDI Hungary visited Batam State Polytechnic in order to discuss internship cooperation for Indonesian vocational students to Europe as well as introduce facilities owned by Batam State Polytechnic.
The visit was attended by several officials from Markija, Batam State Polytechnic, Prohuman, and Samsung SDI Hungary including Bence Schmatovich as President Director of Markija, Uuf Brajawidagda, S.T., M.T., Ph.D as Director of Batam State Polytechnic, Csongor Juhasz as Founder & CEO of Prohuman, and Alexandra Kitta as Human Resources Recruiting Manager of Samsung SDI Hungary.
In addition to discussing with the Director of Batam State Polytechnic, Markija together with Prohuman and Samsung SDI Hungary visited the facilities owned by Batam State Polytechnic and having a dialogue with students who were working on projects. The visit included visiting the Robotics Workshop Laboratory, Student Technopreneur Center, and TFME (Teaching Factory Manufacturing of Electronics) Building.
In the Robotics Workshop Laboratory, the Markija and Samsung SDI Hungary teams were shown a demonstration of the latest robot owned by Batam State Polytechnic. After seeing the robotic demonstration, the whole team moved to the Student Technopreneur Center. Student Technopreneur Center is the flagship building of Batam State Polytechnic which is used as a collaboration place for students’ creativity in working on projects.
Next, the team headed to the TFME Building. The TFME building contains an SMT (Surface Mount Device) machine that functions to arrange electronic components directly on the surface of PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards). Batam State Polytechnic is the only polytechnic in Indonesia that has such a machine.
The visit was closed by giving a plaque by the Markija Team to the Director of Batam State Polytechnic.
