In June 2024, Mr. Bence Schmatovich stepped down as President Director of Markija Berdaya, transitioning to an advisory role within the company. During his tenure, he was instrumental in forging significant partnerships and advancing vocational education initiatives.

Under Mr. Schmatovich’s leadership, Markija facilitated internships for almost 2000 young Indonesian vocational students in Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Romania. This initiative aligned with Indonesia’s Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, offering students the opportunity to gain international exposure without incurring additional costs.

“I am deeply grateful for this journey and incredibly proud that we have been able to provide opportunities to nearly 2,000 individuals, making a significant impact on their personal and professional growth. I take pride in the fact that we developed a program where students did not have to bear any financial burden, as all costs were covered by the companies involved, while we maintained a robust support system for them in the destination countries. My heartfelt thanks go out to the entire Markija team for this amazing journey, and I am confident that even greater achievements lie ahead.”
