On May 23 – June 3, Markija Berdaya together with Škoda Transportation conducted a Practical Test for Welder, Electromechanic and Mechanic Apprenticeship Positions. Škoda Transportation is an international leader in public transportation solutions. The Czech Republic-based company develops a wide range of public transportation solutions for trains, trams, metro/subways, electric buses and various types of buses, along with comprehensive service and maintenance, which are used in more than 50 countries.

The practical test was conducted at 9 polytechnics and 1 vocational school: Batam State Polytechnic, Medan State Polytechnic, Sriwijaya State Polytechnic, Padang State Polytechnic, Jakarta State Polytechnic, ATMI Surakarta Polytechnic, Surabaya State Polytechnic, Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic, and SMKN 1 Singosari. The practical test was attended by more than 1300 students.

Škoda Transportation sent 8 (eight) delegates including Jiří Veselý, Production Director, and Alexandra Krutá and Vlastimil Václavík, Senior HR Manager, accompanied by 4 (four) delegates from Markija Berdaya including Csongor Hunyar, Vice President, GM, and Hadied Safarayuza, Vice Director.
