Markija’s Visit with Prohuman and Continental Hungary to Jakarta State Polytechnic (PNJ)

Markija together with its partners in Europe, Prohuman and Continental Hungary, visited Jakarta State Polytechnic (PNJ) in order to discuss internship cooperation for Indonesian vocational students to Europe.

Markija explained the current condition in Central Europe which lacks skilled vocational personnel, while the industry in Central Europe, which is known to be advanced, is currently growing rapidly. On the other hand, Indonesia has a large number of vocational students who need high-quality internship companies as part of the Program Merdeka Belajar and Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Therefore, the implementation of the Markija Internship Program to Europe is seen as an answer.

Through the Markija Internship Program, 2 years of internship experience will count as 40 Semester Credit Units (SKS) and Recognition of Past Learning (RPL) to be claimed to polytechnics/vocational schools to obtain higher degrees.

The meeting between PNJ, Markija, Prohuman, and Continental Hungary focused on discussing current opened internship positions at Continental Hungary. Some of the opened internship positions are intended for mechanical and electrical engineering students, but it is also opened to other internship positions.

In addition to discussing with PNJ management, Markija with Prohuman and Continental Hungary visited the PNJ facilities and having a dialogue with students who were working on projects there.

Furthermore, Markija will make an MoU with PNJ as a follow-up to this visit and with the Forum of State Polytechnic Directors throughout Indonesia which has been running for 1 year.
