Monday, December 27, 2021, Markija Berdaya signed an online Memorandum of Understanding with the Vocational School of Gadjah Mada University and Batam State Polytechnic in the framework of an internship program collaboration to Hungary.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by

2. Dr. Beny Bandanadjaya, S.T., M.T. – Director of Vocational & Professional Higher Education of the Ministry of Research and Technology
3. Dr. Ir. Heru Dewanto, ST, M.Sc.(Eng.), IPU. – Co-Founder & Chairman of Markija Berdaya
4. Andre Rasjid, B.S., M.B.A. – Co-Founder & Vice-Chairman of Markija Berdaya
5. Dr.-Ing. Ir. Agus Maryono – Dean of Vocational School of Universitas Gadjah Mada
6. Uuf Brajawidagda, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. – Director of Batam State Polytechnic
and other officials.
The MoU Signing Ceremony between Markija Berdaya with Batam State Polytechnic and Vocational School of Gadjah Mada University was an event to sign a cooperation agreement for internship programs in Hungary for vocational students.
Director General of Vocational Studies Mr. Wikan Sakarinto in his speech, said that, “We are grateful for the successful implementation of the first batch which has been well prepared. This program is a great potential and taken with the best preparation. It is hoped that this Hungarian internship program activity can be linked to the MBKM (Merdeka Belajar, Kampus Merdeka) program where there is a second batch. We really want this program to be one of our mainstays (vocational) where we also want to develop similar programs with Germany and other countries”.
On this good occasion, the Former Chairman of PII 2018-2021 Mr. Heru Dewanto said, “This internship program is to improve vocational quality education in Indonesia to gain international exposure and exposure to European class industries in particular. The main foundation of this program is an academic foundation that makes this internship program part of Vocational Schools and Polytechnics, so that it becomes part of the existing curriculum. The second foundation is the law of economics, supply and demand. With these 2 foundations, it is hoped that it can become a sustainable program and make Vocational Schools and Polytechnics increase, so that the expectations of the government become a reality.”
Markija Berdaya Co-Founder & Vice-Chairman Mr. Andre Rasjid said, “This is a new mutual cooperation initiative, transferring knowledge and international experience for the rampant globalization in the future. In a short time, there were 500 applicants in the pilot project of this internship program, and only 50 interns were selected where 50% of the participants were vocational students and alumni. currently markija is in the process of growing this program by exploring cooperation with 10 new companies in Hungary. Through the signing of this memorandum of understanding, we hope to improve the quality of vocational education and more and more people are interested in this program “.
Through the joint program with Markija Berdaya, students can carry out work internship programs in Hungary to develop hard skills and soft skills. It is hoped that the Markija Berdaya internship program will be useful for vocational students to be able to develop their skills in companies in Hungary.
